Recommendations
In line with the summary and suggestions from the participants the Federal Department of Fisheries should ask the Obafemi Awolowo University to create a website for the Federal Department of Fisheries. The website should include a Listserve through which participants can talk via the Internet on various issues as discussed during the training programme. To begin with, the organization network will be established and coordinated from O. A. U. until zonal networks are established. Participants want the O. A. U. to coordinate the organizational network. There is also a very dire need for all participants to have access to computers that they can use in order to improve their knowledge base, thereby contributing to the network dialogues and sharing of information for the future of Fisheries and Aquaculture development in Nigeria.
